Aviva Betech


Over the course of the past decade, Aviva Betech has participated in several volunteer positions that have enabled her to contribute her professional skills to helping others in the community. From 2005 through 2007, Aviva Betech served The Kabbalah Centre’s Spirituality for Kids program. Through this program, Aviva Betech facilitated and staged activities aimed at helping children aged 4 through 12 develop good personal growth habits. In 2009, Aviva Betech contributed her skills and training to the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program at the Madge Bradley Courthouse in San Diego, California, as a Paralegal. Her paralegal duties included helping clients through the process of filing temporary restraining order forms for elder abuse and domestic violence.

Fluent in Spanish as well as English, with knowledge of Hebrew, French, and Italian, Aviva Betech attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where she completed her undergraduate education by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2000. In 2011, Aviva Betech completed her Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, California, in tandem with her work as a marital and family therapy (MFT) Trainee at the First Avenue Counseling Centre in 2010 and 2011. As an MFT Trainee, Aviva Betech gained crucial real-world experience in the facilitation of therapy to individuals, groups, families, and couples, administering one-on-one sessions in addition to co-leading weekly groups for a variety of therapeutic purposes, including domestic violence and substance abuse.

Prior to her work at the First Avenue Counseling Centre, Aviva Betech served as a Marketing Assistant at Visual Connections and MUE Corporation, a product development company based out of San Diego, California. In this position, she developed marketing campaigns and performed administrative work. Aviva Betech has also worked as a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty, Inc., and as a Realtor and Lender with CFS Home Loans and Realty, where she began her career. Through CFS Home Loans and Realty, Aviva Betech managed a number of tasks and duties, including processing multiple loan files, constructing and overseeing an extensive client database, and conducting meetings in order to promote client listings.
