EXECUTIVE – SALES
Responsible for managing the sales activity for GSI Shipping & Logistics in the assigned market area (Chennai- India) meeting specific net revenue and sales call goals. Also responsible for creating and proposing customized logistics solutions to the customer, closing business, and involved in the implementation and retention of business.
Duties & responsibilities
- Liaise with Shipping Agencies / Carriers / Lines for competitive rates and services
- Facilitate shipment status update to customers through Monitoring Movements from Origin to Destination.
- Actively pursue growth opportunities, by developing new clients and maintaining good relationship with existing clients
- Drive new business growth across all facets of the business in line with the sales targets/budgets set by the Sales Manager
- Continuously promote sales activities personally, by developing and concentrating on new key accounts and developing business with existing accounts
- Prepare sales plans and reports
- Conduct customer presentations and details sales/project proposals
