In his current position as senior director of Kezzler AS, Dr. Avi Chaudhuri develops and implements strategies for eliminating counterfeit drugs on the global market. His initiatives on behalf of Kezzler have created greater awareness of the problems being faced by consumers and included developing new initiatives for the elimination of counterfeit drugs.

Avi Chaudhuri served for 16 years on the faculty at McGill University’s Department of Psychology, where he served as Director of the Behavioral Neuroscience Training Program. His activities also included teaching a course in behavioral neuroscience that covered the general principles of brain and other neural functioning and encompassed an overview of the sensory systems. Avi Chaudhuri received multiple awards, including the 1995 Royal Bank of Canada Teaching Innovation Award and the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship. Dr. Chaudhuri’s publications include Fundamentals of Sensory Perception, a textbook published by Oxford University Press in 2011. He is currently working on the second edition of his book.

During a sabbatical from McGill, Avi Chaudhuri served as a program director at the National Science Foundation’s Division of Integrative Biology and Neuroscience in Arlington, Virginia. At NSF, Dr. Chaudhuri provided leadership within the Directorate of Biological Sciences and Division of Integrative Neuroscience for advancing the goals of the Foundation in key areas of research, scholarship, and training related to sensory systems and allied fields.
