Accomplishments

At UH, I was selected as one of four bass II's in Concert Chorale to compete in Magdeburg, Germany in the Grand Prix of Nations, a prestigious international competition that includes only choirs who have won major international competitions previously. We placed first in our main categorization, Youth Choir (age 18-24), earning the grand prize and a gold metal. In the two subcategories we entered, we placed second in Folk and third in Jazz, Pop and Gospel, both earning a gold metal. After the competition, the Concert Chorale was internationally ranked as the third best choir in the world and first in our age group by Interkultur's World Rankings.

At UH, I was selected to be a part of the University of Houston Concert Chorale my sophomore year, after switching my concentration from euphonium to voice.

At Jersey Village High School, I was selected for the TMEA Texas All-State Choir on Bass II.
