Upon meeting me, no one suspects that English is neither my first language, nor is it the language I speak at home. I am fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish. If I am in a position where I can facilitate communication between individuals of different languages and cultures, I do so. My passion lies in bridging the gap between cultures through communication.Given not only my passion for communication but also my passion for Portugal and Portuguese culture, I am one of the founding members of the Portuguese Association of North Carolina. In March of 2010, the Portuguese Association officially became a non-profit organization where I serve as President. I am responsible for most aspects of communication and public relations for this organization, such as photographing and filming special events, producing flyers and brochures about the organization, and helping to coordinate and prepare for special events. Our goal is to preserve the Portuguese culture among Portuguese immigrants and students and to share our culture with other communities in the Triangle.Specialties: Public Relations, Press Releases, Technical Writing, Translations, Advertisement Design, Photography, Videography, Social Media Marketing, Presentations, Special Event Coordination
