"The Shop" of the American Cancer Society

"The Shop" of the American Cancer Society is a non-profit organization working to raise money and awareness for cancer research through the sale of high quality, gently used, donated merchandise. My position at the organization is to extend awareness and make others aware that they can make a difference.

My specific duties include:

Edit, rewrite and proofread all pages for publication.

Assist with copywriting and advertising layout.

Event planning and promotion.

Sales and customer contact.

Solicit donations from businesses in the community.
