About  Ashley Coolidge

A Houston, Texas, resident and former teacher for the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, Ashley Coolidge received a BS in elementary education from Texas A&M University. She and her husband, also a Texas A&M alumni, have supported the teaching, research, and other activities of leading faculty at the university by contributing a sizable endowment to create the Coolidge Chair in Business at the Mays Business School. Ashley Coolidge also follows her alma mater’s football team and maintains membership in the 12th Man Foundation, which provides funding for athletic scholarships and programs at Texas A&M.

Involved in efforts to aid people with serious health conditions, Ashley Coolidge belongs to VICTORY, a branch of the American Cancer Society that raises money to facilitate cancer treatment, research, and education in the Houston area. She also supports the work of The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) Foundation to improve medical care for people with brain and spinal injuries. Through the charity Dec My Room, she helps children and young adults admitted for long hospital stays by providing decorations to make their rooms into personalized healing spaces.

In her free time, Ms. Coolidge enjoys working out and traveling. She favors trips to beachfront destinations, especially the Pirate’s Cove area of Galveston, Texas, where her family owns a vacation home.
