Summary

I'm currently at iDiva.com, a new website from Times Internet Ltd. (the online arm of one of India's largest publishing houses) as Brand Head. Prior to this, I've been in media planning (Starcom Worldwide) handling digital planning, buying and strategy for my clients across West India; sales (Hutchison Max / Vodafone) managing postpaid subscription sales for North Mumbai; and business development (Baazee.com / eBay India) converting new vendors to the online retail medium. I've done my MBA from the Goa Institute of Management in 2002, specializing in Marketing, and my graduation from Presidency College, Calcutta, with Sociology. Interest

I enjoy travel, adventure sports, and photography; have travelled to over a hundred locations within India, mostly across the north and west. These have included regular 'tourist' visits as well as treks, camping, rafting, rock-climbing and caving.

I'm also a core member of a travel-enthusiast group known as Nature Knights, based out of Mumbai, which organizes camps and treks in the region.

Apart from travel, my other major interest lies in social media; I'm working towards setting up a SMO consultancy / outsourcing unit independently.
