Having a permanent position at JFS, one of the biggest Jewish school in Europe has been a thrilling experience for me. Many opportunities have been given to me to prove my professionalism. Being part of The SEN department, I had the responsibility to look after a group of pupils from year 9. I did scheduled and organized after classroom interventions (tuition session) in order to strengthen and consolidate their knowledge and practice. Along with other members of staff we observed a significant improvement in the student's skills and marks. So I got a true teaching experience which lasted one year.
On top of that, I improved my communication skills, such as the importance of liaising with the Maths department as well as the SEN department and preparing meetings with the children's parents.
