Senior Engineer- Production Planning and Procurement 

Prolec GE, Chennai  -   A JV between Xignux, a major Mexican industrial group and General Electric.. Prominent player in the Indian Electrical industry for Power & Distribution transformer.
  • Preparation of Weekly; Monthly & Three Months look-ahead Schedule
  • Offering customer inspection & Weekly update of job status to Marketing team (Internal & External).
  • Track actions for the availability of raw materials with material dept & manufacturing of transformers with production dept.
  • Follow up of job approval, upcoming orders and drawing delivery status with Design and Marketing.
  • Updating daily the production output & monthly billing achievements to the top level management..
  • Handling weekly job status review calls with CEO, Design, Purchase and marketing team. And weekly production review calls with Mexico.
  • Visiting supplier end to follow up the outsourced units & critical materials.
  • Releasing Purchase orders (Insulation material) and Follow up with supplier for material supply.
  • Following up to ensure timely delivery of materials in right quantity at right place.
  • Regular monitoring & maintaining MIS report:                                                                
    • Production output, WIP status, Dispatches, Over dues, Promises kept, Stock out items, Drawing outputs (BOM’s & Drawings), Cycle time & Stock diversion details.
