Actively seeking employment as a captive agent in a field serving the retired (Babyboomer) Generation. With my age and life philosophy my affinity for this group is obviously generational. In-home, direct selling with an emphasis on telemarketing would be ideal. Insurance or financial product sales would be perfect. Position placement requiring a sense of urgency, a deep understanding of how important it is to be a team player, an empathetic approach with clientele,a loyal and caring attitude for my employer would be my primary characteristics.

My blood runs orange (UT, 1967) and my family and I are avid spectators at many Longhorn sporting events.

We are a family of hunters, range shooters and outdoor enthusiasts. We are members of the Austin Rifle Club and with our Class A motorhome, tents and other camping paraphrenalia you will find us outdoors on many weekends doing our thing........

I have a personal interest in international finance and economics and how they affect investment markets. You will find me surfing the web in search of opinion from various website to include:  The Economist, Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, Nourial Rubini, Bloomberg News, Jim Sinclaire, Wall Street Journal, et al. in trying to determine the latest trends in investment strategy.

I am strategically and tactically positioned to communicate with the Babyboomer generation sharing age, philosophy, cultural, emotional and intellectual values. The demographic emergence of the coming Babyboomer retirement generation insure a timely, vibrant and challenging opportunity fall all involved.

Something Extra...

I would be classified as an "Empty Nester" by today's standards meaning that I have attained the age where there are few if any distractions in my life. The significance for a hiring firm is that they are interviewing a man that can go the "extra mile" for a firm. Examples would be:  manning the office when others are vacationing or traveling, filling in on speaker's bureau or circuit when necessary, minor to extensive traveling when company finds it necessary, working extra or late hours or long days when needed.

Non Captive Independent Agent

Physician's Health Choice

Physican's Health Choice has a nationally recognized HMO Medicare Advantage Plan that, in my opinion,

is the best in the United States. It is an extremely easy product to market and meets all the needs of the typical Medicare recipient. For those unfortunate Americans that can't afford Medicare premiums it is one of the great blessings of their lives!

Joyful Memories

Joyful Memories manufactured and marketed gifts and decorative accessories internationally and utilized a diverse marketing methodology including:  specialty retailing, promotional products, shows, exhibits, conventions, mail order and internet markiting. As owner and operator I exercised executive decision making across the broad spectrum of a small business operation. I primarily handled the marketing sector of the business while other family members were responsible for accounting and production. This position enabled me to sharpen my skills as a business developer while continually increasing my abilities in the sales arena. We exhibited at some of the largest gift shows in the world to include Europe, North America and Asia. There is no theatre in business characterized by such a diverse and economically unlevel but ever so challeging playing field than international business!

Business Development
Because my primary characteristic is to work independently within the parameters of a firm's business model, I bring an exceptional ability for the development of new business as an adjunct to a company's normal and traditional marketing effort. Experience includes but is certainly not limited to: retailing, specialty retailing, cross selling, outreach, promotional, internet, traditional media and a number of other marketing skills. Weather it might be a trade show setup and management in Little Rock, Arkansas, a kiosk at a local Regional Mall in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a Senior Citizen's show in San Antonio, Texas or a conference in El Paso, Texas I would be qualified. Experience with web authoring my own company websites and various desktop publishing skills contributes to the independence mentioned above.   Last, but certainly not least, as a Veteran I have a number of ideas about marketing Advantage products to Veterans and their family members. As a vet and recipient of Medicare Advantage services I have come to understand that medical services for particular catagories and ages of vets via the Department of Veterans Services and benefits offered by Medicare Advantage Plans while overlapping in some areas can be quite distinct in others. My own healthcare utilizes the benefits of both systems and Medicare Advantage Providers have not yet recognized or have chosen to absolutely neglect the vast company goodwill to be earned, profit center to to be added and the extension of services that this market deserves and which will be serviced by presient insurers of the future!
