The co-owner and president of Godsell Construction Corporation, Arthur Godsell oversees the company’s daily activities. He attended Farmingdale State University of New York for business administration and management. In addition to running his company for nearly four decades, Arthur Godsell contributes to his community through professional, civic, and philanthropic initiatives.

An active member of the business community, since 1995 Arthur Godsell has been a member of Long Island Association, a civic and business organization that builds a better Long Island by bringing together business, labor, government, and academia. He also serves on fundraising and organizing committee for Nassau Community Hospital / NU Health. In 2011, Mr. Godsell was appointed to the Oyster Bay Cove Zoning Board, which grants special permits and variances regarding land use with the village.

In addition to his civic efforts, Mr. Godsell works with several local and national philanthropic groups. The many groups he has donated to include BoysTown of New York, Boy Scouts of America, and March of Dimes. He also supports the community through his efforts with the Hicksville Fire Department, the Hicksville Chamber of Commerce, and the Syosset Fire Department.
