Chief System Engineer

Leadership & Project Management Managed a team of 8 engineers and team leaders, developing an aircraft protection system. Won the head-of-division award for teamwork, after delivering a unique airborne system to the first customer and executing successful airborne tests, leading to a 3M$ contract. Marketing & Customer Relationship Presented defense systems to government officials in Europe and Asia; wrote commercial proposals winning a 1.5M$ contract. Worked with customers in Israel, Europe, and Asia, analyzing their needs and customizing systems for their aircraft Operations & Production Executed complex integration of systems with aircraft, leading cooperation among customer and industry teams Led the system's transition to production; designed the production line and doubled the production rate within the first production year Organization Development Elected team member of a cross-functional reorganization team that redefined the division's business areas

Initiated and led research projects, testing technological solutions for improving aircraft survivability in battle. Developed radiometric data analysis tools leading to 50% decrease in data analysis costs. Performed and led radiometric research; managed a team of 3 research students (Electro-Optics unit at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology). Published 3 scientific papers in the Journal of Optical Engineering and in an SPIE Aerosense conference.
