As an Operational Partner with mergers and acquisitions investment banking firm Harbor Ridge Capital, LLC, Arman Khalilidraws on a broad background in technology, business development, and finance. Currently serving as an Operational Advisor to the Los Angeles-based firm, Khalili makes use of his multifaceted expertise in marketing and management to counsel Harbor Ridge Capital’s clients during complex procedures such as capital raisings and M&A advisories. Working primarily with middle-market growth businesses, Khalili and his colleagues consult for companies in sectors such as telecommunications, health care, SaaS, and internet infrastructure. In addition to his responsibilities with Harbor Ridge Capital, Arman Khalili also serves as a business development expert for AKIT Consulting Services, a boutique information technology advisory company. Arman Khalili prepared for his current consulting positions through executive-level work with several technology companies. In 2000, he co-founded NextLayer, Inc., wherein he designed software for sentinel secure groupware technology while coordinating seed funding for client sourcing and technical demonstrations. Arman Khalili subsequently served for a decade as the Chief Executive Officer of UnitedLayer, a retail colocation company that expanded from a minor Bay Area outpost to become the largest managed hosting company in San Francisco. During the same period, Arman Khalili acted as an instructor for several extension courses through the University of California, Los Angeles. In this role, he utilized his professional repertoire as well as external research to produce course material for classes addressing the operation, finances, and management of Internet protocol networks and systems. Khalili’s focus on “real world” industry issues reflected his diverse experiences as a businessman in the technology sector. Arman Khalili has served as a Director of Network Engineering for Netli, Inc., and as a Consultant Engineer for Level 3 Communications and AT&T. He has also held responsibilities as Chief Technology Officer of bellwether digital entertainment company Musicbank.com and as Vice President of Sales and Services with Sirius Solutions, Inc.
