He has demonstrated his ability to set clear security strategy, lay out a roadmap with solid business and financial foundations and excel in large-scale project management.
Mr. Silverstone contributed to the current worldwide standard in security, ISO 27001, and wrote and contributed to over twenty published books and many articles on information security. Familiar with regulatory frameworks such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SoX), HIPAA, PCI, DoD directives and more, he applies exceptional organizational skills in people development, team management, and client relationships to deliver effective security programs. He is known for his outstanding communications skills as a frequent speaker in the US, Europe and South America and a contributor to information security standards for the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force).
