Presently, She is working at Zafar and Associates - LLP as an Associate Attorney. She has worked in different areas of law and has gained considerable amount of experience in the fields of Intellectual Property, Contract, and E-Commerce.

Prior to joining her hands with ZA-LLP as an associate, she has served as legal research associate to Justice (R) Nasira Iqbal. During her service with Justice (R) Nasira Iqbal - a renowned legal personality and a philanthropist in Pakistan, she has worked on several documents including Pakistan’s initial State reports on United Nations Treaties i.e., the ICCPR and UNCAT.

She has also worked with different Non Profit Organizations and have played key roles in the organizations that she has worked with, for instance, she has served as District Chairperson Publications at Rotaract International District 3272, and Executive Director at Hollaback! International (Lahore).

Patent & Trademark Attorney with expertise in IP portfolio research, cross-border technology transactions, licensing agreements, product clearance, freedom-to-operate, patent infringement & validity (Patent Invalidation) analysis, research & opinions. Core practice includes patent drafting, patent searches (patent analytics) PCT National phase patent prosecution in Pakistan (drafting office action responses for USPTO, EPO, UKIPO) & international trademark registration in Pakistan  under Madrid Protocol. Have advised clients in structuring and negotiating transactions in which they exploit their intellectual property rights or in acquiring them from others.

Drafting of co-operation Agreements, License Agreements, Franchise Agreements, Infringement Suits, Legal Notices, Cease and Desist Letters, Distance Contracts, NDAs, IP Protection, business policies and other legal documents have also been her core areas of expertise.

She has  worked as an Assistant to Compliance Officer at Milk Collection Dairy Department and her major role was to review and evaluate external compliance issues. Her research work majorly dealt with the Food Law, Employment / Labour Laws, Taxation Laws, Health Care,  Environmental Laws, Industrial Machinery Laws etc.  


Legal Advisor


She is working as a Legal Advisor to upcoming Project "Nutraeat" - an e-commerce based nutrition consultation company. Her major role is to bring all the workings of the site under the compliance of statutes of Pakistan and International Laws and regulations related to nutrition, intellectual property, tax and internet. Apart from performing the stated job, she also drafts and vets contracts including NDAs, Employment Agreements, Intellectual Property Contracts, Privacy Policies, Terms & Conditions etc.

Rotary International is a global network of business and professional people. Rotary encourages high ethical standards in all professions and vocations and with the help of their knowledge, experience and resources make significant advancement in improving health, literacy, humanity while building goodwill and peace in the world. Each Rotaract club is sponsored by a local Rotary club. 

Her core duty was to collect all the data concerning the activities conducted throughout the District 3272 and compile the Report for the Higher Officials. Besides, she was an editor to the DRR's Monthly Newsletter which is projected throughout the Rotary International.
