With over 25 years of rewarding worldwide assignments, had an ample opportunity to demonstrate leadership and gain extensive professional experience in the key stages of Oil & Gas and Energy projects, from concept and new technology development to implementation and operation. The assignments covered:

• Conventional Oil & Gas: exploration, development, production • Unconventional Oil & Gas: tar sands, heavy oil • Renewable Energy: hydro, wind, geothermal, biofuel • Natural Resources: water, coal, metals • Emerging Technologies: magnetic resonance detection • Feasibility Studies: technical, economic, environmental • Projects: planning, design, construction, management • Frontier Areas: onshore, offshore, deep water, arctic • Challenges: technical, environmental, economic, political • New Business Development: USA, Russia, Brazil Hence attained an evolved understanding of Energy, Environment, Engineering, Economy and Technology complexities.

As a Fulbright Scholar, was privileged to get a top-notch education that led to choice employment by the largest multinational energy corporations. As a multilingual, articulate communicator, often entrusted with building consensus among multidisciplinary, multicultural parties. As an innovator and tenacious problem solver, causing positive changes while staying focused on cost, time and risk and keeping the Earth green.

Typical activities have included prospect evaluation, development planning, environmental impact assessment and project management. New technologies have related to heavy oil recovery, oil sands extraction, ethanol manufacture and magnetic resonance detection.

Premier Energy Corporation

Headed a publicly traded US company (OTCBB: PNRC) that was exploring for and producing oil and gas in the Volga-Urals region in Russia - while evaluating additional acreage, producing properties and new technologies for acquisition in the U.S.A. and Russian Federation.

The University of Texas at Dallas

This degree gave me knowledge and training in international management - including trade across national boundaries and management on a global basis - with direct knowledge of business in foreign environments.

Specifically, I contended the effects of Soviet Union collapse, prior to the event - and focused on up-and-coming economies and business opportunities in Brazil and Russia.

Ph.D. and M.S.

Rice University

My studies included structural and foundation dynamics (earthquake and offshore engineering), reinforced and prestressed concrete structures, application of probability theory to structural dynamics, experimental studies of structures, geotechnical engineering and computer-aided engineering.

Ph.D. Thesis: "Dynamic Torsional Response of Foundations on Layered Media" 1977.

University of Sarajevo

As a professional engineering discipline, Civil Engineering has prepared me to design, construct and maintain the physical and natural bio-environment works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings. As my elected specialty, Structural Engineering has enabled me to analyse and design structures that support or resist loads.

Received the Best Student Project Award.
