The journey of the Earth Treasure Vases. Cynthia Jurs - 24 year mission to bury 30 sacred Earth treasure Vases around the world. Set in Australia during a thirteen-day, cross-cultural expedition to find sacred grounds for the placement of the last of 30 vases, the film features two pivotal Aboriginal leaders, Uncle Bob Randall and Auntie Margaret along with the insights of several journeyer's from around the world. Sacred and profound, reflections along the way illustrate who we are as inhabitants of Earth and suggest where we may be collectively headed.

Sengo Safaris was a small travel outfit based in Nairobi, Kenya, I co-founded this with legendary wildlife guide Glynn Lewis. In 1998 Sengo merged with Tanzania-based Swala Tented Camps which continues operations to this day.

  • Driver, photography instructor, tour coordinator, directly responsible for the safety and visual entertainment of up to 16 passengers at a time.
  • Marketed safari services in local publications, area hotels and Nairobi YMCA.
  • Arranged permits and guide services, travel arrangements by land and air between Tanzania and Kenya.
  • Purchased vehicles and performed “bush” repair, routine maintenance.
  • Arranged special education programs with anthropologist Mary Leaky at Olduvai Gorge and Lion rehabilitation expert George Adamson at Kora Rock in Northern Kenya.
