He implements strategy by designing and managing innovation initiatives, designing new digital business models, and building a global ecosystem.   Prior to this role he was the interim global lead of digital customer programme for SABMiller, one of the world’s leading brewery.

SAP Hybris is the Business unit responsible for all of SAP’s customer engagement and commerce business. 

Antonio has the responsibility of managing and driving an elite team in EMEA that helps customers to accelerate their digital transformation using SAP Hybris solutions for Commerce, Marketing, Sales, Service and Billing. His team focus on cloud solutions.

Antonio has conceived and implemented this new team hiring internally and externally; the team is composed by visual designers, digital architects, business analysts, digital thinkers

Examples of the initiatives: Realization with Hybris Labs of wine digital shelf using a micro-services architecture for BASF winery. 

Vision, roadmap and planning of a customer omni-channel experience  for a  multinational home appliance manufacturer moving from legacy on-premise solutions to a cloud model.

Senior Director Customer Engagement and Commerce - Global Platinum Accounts

Antonio started in SAP as Senior Director in Customer Engagement and Commerce Line of Business. He applied in this role his expertise to support SAP's Platinum Customers (strategic customers for SAP) in defining Agile, DevOps, cloud-based services, modular architecture and a mix of product and project work to  align with business needs. He focused on cloud SAP Hybris solutions, launching and coordinating two co-innovation projects, one to realize a bespoke data-driven marketing solution for a leading consumer goods company, and a second one to define a marketplace e-commerce model.

Interim Digital Customer Programme Lead

SABMiller PLC

Hired to bring expertise and help SABMiller with its ambition to digitally enhance relationship with consumer (B2C) and customer (B2B). Antonio identified digital priorities, led business case definition and budget for the initiatives. He selected the supporting solutions and worked closely with different providers. He defined the harmonization of the e-commerce platforms across the group and geographies to deliver cost-effective and efficient e-commerce capabilities. 

Some of the initiatives he led are: "Digital Cold", "Digital Customer Engagement (Social, SMS)", "Smart Ordering (machine learning order solution)", "E-commerce".

Interim Transformation Director

Compagnia Generale Trattori SpA

CGT decided to undertake a transformation journey to adapt to the new challenges that the economic climate imposed. CGT worked with a well known international management consulting company to design new processes for the emerging business: service and repairs. Antonio supported already in this phase to design and select the bespoke IT solution to manage the new/changed processes. He was then asked to continue to support the CIO during the crucial phase of the transformation journey moving from highly complex legacy solutions to a packaged solution . Antonio ensured a consistent design of the solution and was part of the program steering committee.

His assignment was part-time.

Interim Transformation Lead

SABMiller PLC

SABMIller, after few years of companies acquisition, wanted to realize the possible significant synergies within the group of the acquired companies. Antonio led  the business case team responsible to identify benefits and costs for the Front-Office.

He was then responsible for the design and implementation of a global template solution for the new global front-office based mainly on SAP technology. He led an international team of 70+ people.

He ensured that the global template was deployed in four major Countries.

Antonio was an executive in the Business Consulting and System Integration practice for Accenture. In this role, he led several business transformation projects.

He was part of the committee for the acquisition of a leading company in Sales Force automation for CP (CAS).

Served as a key member of the executive team for SAP Services practice charged with formulating strategic direction and devising business development initiatives consistent with overall strategy and targets. Cultivated business partnerships, built a successful pipeline and created new sales opportunities including five new clients. Managed new and existing client projects including complex contract negotiations and liaising with legal counsel as needed. Achieved triple digits grow for the SAP practice.
