My current duties include performing reservoir calculations for future acquisitions and partnerships. I have performed a profitability review of the company’s 3 service swabbing rigs, well soaping activities, and wellbore plunger applications. I have prepared a Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan and a Preparedness, Prevention, and Countermeasure (PPC) Plan for the company's 369 wells.
I was recruited in November 2008 to enter Exterran's Engineering Development Program. I was to train and gain experience in the areas of natural gas production, pipeline compression, processing, treating, and refining. In May 2009, my employment offer was rescinded due to the current economic conditions.
My duties during my summer employment were to review the decline curve history of over 3,000 natural gas wells located in the Appalachian Basin using ARIES software. I helped process and validate Authority For Expenditure (AFE) reports for well prospects. Also, I assisted in reservoir calculations and formal presentation preparation for an acquisition. In addition, I gained limited field experience by visiting company drilling rigs. Finally, I helped generate a comprehensive, annual five-year budget report as my summer project.report that included simulated production, capital expenditures, revenue, cash flow, and drilling program recommendations.
My Career Objective is to gain a position for an petroleum and/or natural gas exploration company and become a valuable asset to my employer.
