I am a very energized and motivated individual with decades of experience in intangible sales primarily within the financial services sector of the real estate and securities industries. Throughout my career I have demonstrated the highest level of integrity in the management of client relationships as well relationships with my peers and those under my management. Mastering this strategy has afforded consistent, successful results. In addition to my own proven ability in direct sales I have also provided leadership to 100's of individuals over the years in primarily sales capacities but also operations. I have also developed Winning Teams from top to bottom. My respected philosophy of placing the client or the teammate first and seeking solutions that matter and provide results to the other party has lead to a successful career; not only economically but also in the respect and reputation garnered from those with whom I've had the honor of being affiliated with.
In addition to my career and my family, which consists of my wife, 4 kids and 3 dogs, I am an avid reader and writer, having published a novel in June, 2007 titled: Crossing Over (iUniverse Press.) I also am a veteran motorcyclist, an amateur photographer as well as a guitarist.

Appointed RVP to oversee both Sales and Operations for entire Western U.S. This included management of 5 physical locations - Austin, Houston, Denver, Las Vegas and San Diego - as well as a team that included 145 members and typically 10 direct reports. In addition to providing the company with sales results which grew to match those of established East Coast production, a culture was created that provided for a very productive work environment where each and every employee felt ownership of their responsibilities as well as part of our success. In fact, the business unit worked so well together and rapidly became so proficient at serving the customer that in late 2007, after being in the community just over a year, the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers chose Silver Hill as Wholesale Lender of The Year! Additionally, methods involved in the production of commercial real estate loans; underwriting, closing and banking of these loans, were constantly examined under my leadership to insure an efficient workflow. This developed certain efficiencies that were taken on nationally.

Charged with responsibility of recruiting, training, developing and providing support to a sales force in the Western U.S. The company had supported all sales activity out of Miami up until bringing me on. In a very short period of time I was successful in taking production of small balance commercial real estate loans from $200,000 to $2,000,000 from zero to $25,000,000 plus per month. Additionally, I opened multiple sales offices around the region, hired and trained support staff and ultimately developed operations.

Developed platform to allow residential loan brokers to originate commercial real estate loans. My tasks included negotiating product availability with Wall St. investment banks and other direct lenders, development of A - Z sales materials including presentations as well as product guides, took the division to the field by traveling the nation and presenting in seminar format and and also was responsible for oversight of operations located in Austin. FMFC at the time was the largest privately held residential mortgage banking firm by virtue of loan originations and had a customer base well into the 1,000's. Of note - recruited by Silver Hill however departed FMFC on very favorable terms and the commercial division elevated to become #2 client producer for Silver Hill.

I founded, developed, oversaw and added to loan production a small to mid-size mortgage brokerage / correspondent which included the moniker of becoming a FHA / FNMA approved regional lender. Of note: even when operating business with 3 offices and 12 originators I always maintained a very high level of personal production - typically in excess of $24,000,000 per year placing me in the top 10% nationally.
