Anthony W. Deering

Since 2004, Anthony Deering has served as the Chairman of Exeter Capital, LLC, a Lutherville, Maryland-based private investment firm. Prior to founding Exeter Capital, Anthony Deering headed The Rouse Company, a New York Stock Exchange-listed real estate investor and developer. While with The Rouse Company, he served as the Board Chairman and CEO for seven years, after holding various other executive-level positions within the firm, such as Vice President/Treasurer and Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, dating back to 1972.

Alongside his day-to-day executive duties at Exeter Capital, Anthony Deering also serves on the Board of Directors of both Under Armor and the Brixmor Property Group, as well as the Deutsche Bank American Advisory Board. In addition, he is the Lead Independent Director for T. Rowe Price Mutual Funds. His past advisory service also includes various roles with Mercantile Bank, Alex Brown Realty, Kleinwort Benson, and Vornado Realty.

Mr. Deering currently resides in Florida with his wife Lynn and has three grown children.
