Key responsibilities and achievements included:

  • Driving the definition of Nokia’s global partnering strategies in key innovative domains of importance to Nokia
  • Driving the execution of the partnering strategies across Nokia, and develop significant new business with the strategic partners, and implementing the most relevant business development initiatives.
  • Currently engaged in the Enterprise Partnering domain, on a number of initiatives with IBM.
  • Previously involved in prioritising the activities with 2 key global strategic alliances (Yahoo! and Google), and lead the strategy, objective definition and the overall relationship building and management, and ensure that the most important activities reach their goals in the Internet Partnering Domain.
  • Validate progress of these partner initiatives with the Nokia Global Alliance Board.

  • Creating, driving and delivering on global alliances with global mobile handset manufacturers, such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Samsung, Motorola, in order to provide the Mobile Dynamic User Experience to the Mobile Operators, to deliver significant ARPU uplift in Mobile Data services.
  • Creating and driving global alliances with other global Partners in the Mobile Value chain, including Ericsson Mobility World, Ericsson Enterprise, Sun Microsystems, Accenture, and HP, amongst others.
  • Penetration of these partnerships at Board level.

  • Penetrated into major corporate accounts such as Enron, KLM and Egg, by demonstrating business value gained through the application of new technology.

  • Major wins on accounts such as Scottish & Newcastle, Scottish Power, ICL and Northern Ireland Electricity Board, delivering revenues of multiple £100k for Vodafone.
  • Exploited Vodafone’s existing relationships on voice contracts by demonstrating and delivering value added solutions to business customers based on ROI.
  • Achieved excellent growth within key customers, measured by growth of SMS traffic and Mobile Data traffic.
