Quickly and accurately serve alcoholic beverages
Supervise and coordinate restaurant and pub including staffing, reservations, set-up, stocking and inventory
Continuously build a repeat clientele base by addressing concerns and creating a positive memorable experience
Assist clients in planning and booking special events such as Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries and Retirement Parties
Ensure guests are greeted, seated and served in a timely fashion
Coordinate staff and venue according to client's wishes
Anticipate the needs of guests and team members, making adjustments as necessary and relaying information to the appropriate personnel
Set-up and tear-down of venue as contracted, ensuring the proper use, storage and maintenance of all equipment
Confirm all health and safety regulations are met or exceeded
Compose, edit and proof read written correspondence and promotional material
Assist in the development of new policies and procedures
Sort, review, screen and distribute incoming and outgoing electronic mail, paper mail and faxes
Operate all office machines including multiline telephone system, high capacity copier/fax/scanner, audiovisual system and security cameras
Act as a liaison between clients and insurance providers for the consultation and sale of Auto, Home and Commercial Insurance Policies
Determine and anticipate appropriate insurance needs by collecting information, creating home evaluations and assessing risk profiles
Handle carrier requests, file insurance claims and keep detailed records
Fulfill light accounting duties such as reconciliation, processing POS system. daily deposits, issue cheques, invoicing and collections
Process cash, debit and credit card transactions, counterfeit detection and currency exchange
Distribute and collect cash floats for employees and pay contracted workers
Responsible for reservations, coat check and Lost and Found
Provide quotations and coordinate travel arrangements such as airline tickets, accommodations, car rentals and tour packages for walk-in and telephone clients
Reinforce and build a strong client base and repeat business by following up on completed and perspective bookings
