    • After creating and promoting SmilesMaker, changes and customizations are completed by national organizations that utilize SmilesMaker to collect oral health data.     • Pursue SmilesMaker© leads with clients, compile appropriate contracts for signature, coordinate contract process with clients on behalf of the University, maintain contracts after signature, ensure terms and conditions of contracts are upheld

Responsibilities include:

  • Updating and maintaining site Standard Operating Procedures as well as ensuring compliance
  • Adept in FDA and DEA regulatory information
  • Collecting data for all patient visits including vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.) phlebotomy/ECGs, rating scales, and evaluations

  • Working successfully and efficiently as the primary site contact for a spectrum of Sponsors, Contact Research Organizations, and Institutional Review Boards
  • Record, input, and manage all data
  • Oversee overall clinical operations related to conduct of the trial (i.e. recruitment, informed consent procedure, visit coordination, sampling, visit scheduling, etc).
  • Work in collaboration with study team to ensure trial preparedness.
  • Attend and participate in investigator’s meetings, stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • Serve as point person at the clinical site for monitoring needs. Prepare monitoring visits to make sure monitors receive all necessary information during their visits.
  • Review protocol with the clinical team and ensure clinical team is aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure inventory of clinical supplies is completed.
  • Develop and implement recruitment tactics to ensure target enrollment is met quickly and efficiently.
  • Monitor enrollment and provide enrollment updates for the clinical team and the sponsors.
  • Develop the site-specific protocol documents and the informed consent document, with assistance from the sponsors as well as developing system of maintaining subject files.
  • Ensure timely and accurate transcription of information on source documents, paper case report forms (CRFs), and electronic CRFs.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory documents to the financial sponsor and the regulatory sponsor as well as maintain updated Investigator’s file, including regulatory documents at the clinical site.
  • Maintain communication with IRB and take lead in reporting adverse events, protocol deviations, safety reports, and other items as directed by ICH guidelines and the IRBs.

  • Collaborated in preparing reports published by the American Cancer Society in order to lobby for public smoking bans in the state of Mississippi.

      sampling procedures, and propensity data weighting. Responsibilities included organization of panel materials and presentations, travel logistics, public relations and panel advertisement, budget and financials, and hosting of panel members upon arrival.
