I am looking to gain a full time position.

As a service specialist my job was data entry, inputting insurance data into the computer systems. Speed typing and accuracy was key. My job included answering phone calls, speaking to insurance brokers and account managers and meeting targets.

Instructor/ Counsellor

Frost Valley YMCA

I was hired for the summers of 2016 & 2017 by Frost Valley YMCA as a horse riding instructor for children of various ages and abilities. I taught on a daily basis. This job also included barn duties such as: mucking out, feeding, administering medications and ointments, exercising horses and ponies, round penning, teaching ground lessons, wrangling, turning out and dealing with horses in large herds. I worked individually and with a team of  40 girls.

I worked for DWSFS in Christchurch, New Zealand. As a trainee I worked along side the two directors and the part time embalmer. My duties included, driving the hearse, answering the phones, being on call, meeting with families, transfers, crematorium transfers, assisting at funerals, inputting data into the computer, creating memorial books, keeping files up to date, building cremation caskets and keeping the home clean and presentable.

Allied Health Assistant- Training

Over the period of my the final two years of my high school education I completed my certifications through GoTAFE Victoria. This included every second week, doing placement in Benalla Health in various wards, whilst doing alternate theoretical lessons. This job included: aiding nurses, taking patients vitals, showering patients, feeding patients, using no lift equipment, ensuring strict patient confidentiality,   reporting to nurses/porters/ward clerks.

This certification allows me to work in aged care and to further my career options in areas such as theater technician and enrolled nursing. I attended Benalla Hospital one day a week during the school year as a part of the course. I have, through the hospital, completed no lift procedure presentations and aseptic techniques seminars which have allowed me to pass my certificates with almost perfect marks.

Volunteering

I volunteered in USA at Eicholtz funeral home and shadowed a mortician and a funeral director. This job included but what not limited to: meeting and greeting, meetings with families, working in the morgue, cleaning, paper work, travelling. 

As a part of Year 10 work experience, I volunteered at my school and worked in the office. This included doing paper work, answering phone calls, photocopying and assisting teachers. 

Awards and Recognition

Through high school graduation I received numerous awards totalling almost a thousand dollars in scholarships, three of which were outstanding. 

1. $550 scholarship- Long Tan Award. Given by Australian Defence Force for recognition of Leadership and Teamwork.

2. $100 scholarship- Rotary Australia. Given for my outstanding leadership through out my VCE.

3. $100 scholarship- Benalla Health. Given for my encouragement to continue to pursue a career in the Health Industry. 

State Champion 2011- Musical Ride Drill Team.
