M.Tech Thesis Project  (May 2015 - Present)
Microfluidic POCD for Disease Diagnosis

This project involves the fabrication of a low cost microfluidic device, point of care platform for the diagnosis of disease. This includes 3D modeling of mask using AutoCAD software, fabrication of master using photolithography, study of fluid flow in the microchannel using COMSOL, fabrication of PDMS device using soft lithography and undergoing the disease diagnosis on the PDMS device with few microlitres of the sample and reagent.

B.Tech Thesis Project (December 2013 - May 2014)
Affordable eye movement controlled HCI                                                                        
This project involved the development of an inexpensive and easy to use EOG controlled rehabilitation device for disabled. This work involved development of an EOG acquisition unit, a processing part, an algorithm for detecting basic eye movements and blinking and development of a HCI which can be controlled using EOG signal.

Rehabilitation Engineering Course Project  (July to November 2012)

I made a pressure sensing insole that can be slipped inside shoe. It is designed to mitigate diabetic foot complication, such as ulceration, infection and amputation.

  • ECG Signal Compression using MATLAB                                                                            

Biomedical signal processing course project (November 2012)

I applied discrete cosine transform (DCT) for ECG signal compression. I have compressed the ECG signal by a factor of 2, 4, 8, and 16 and did correlation on the original signal and the signal after compression to get the signal loss after compression.

  • Embedded System for Patient Tracking                                                                                          

SET conference  (July  to October 2012 )
The objective of this project was to propose a new system which will continuously acquire body movements with simultaneous transmission and receiving of the data within an open range of 70-80 m.
