Summary

Working as a Project Manager was one of the highlights of my career to date.The job was rewarding and satisfying both financially and professionally.However, due to a move away from the London area the commute of 2 hours each way every day proved to be too much.

The decision to take up the role of a Teaching Assistant was twofold.Firstly my journey through IVF was just about to start.This is a very long and stressful process in which external pressures can pose a threat to the success of the treatment.The role of a Teaching Assistant while challenging is not a highly charged environment and is a job which you can ‘leave at the door’ when returning home in the evening.Secondly, I was interested in seeking out a possible new career path as a teacher.

Giving this a years’ trial has proven to me that I am not interested in pursuing a career as a teacher.While I truly appreciate what teacher’s do, this is not for me.

Having been lucky enough to have my little boy I am now preparing to return to work.I am looking for a part time opportunity that will stretch me to my full potential once again.
