Project Proquest Proquest is an Enterprise Application build on top of Concept Wave Platform for Quoting & Ordering of VES enterprise products such as PIP(MPLS),IDS,IBS,VOIP,Managed Services etc.This is a major initiative in VES which is geared towards integrating the complete cash to order processes.

Verizon developed/owned many products to expand its business over a period of time. As a result there are different products which cater to the need of similar business requirements. The current business model is comprised of high complexity, lack of scalability, high customization and repeated products of similar functional area. We have 700+ products by network and geography.

Proquest E2Ei -- stands for End-to-End Integration (formerly known as Q2C-Quote-to-Cash). E2E Integration covers the business process for creating a quote for a customer, contracting, pricing, order management. The E2E Integration initiative at Verizon aims to change the current business model and simplify the go-to-market processes, products, and systems by achieving: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

1) Fewer Global Products – simplify the product portfolio and associated definitions <o:p></o:p>

2) Single Global Business Process– build a predictable and consistent order state factory by standardizing around one product agnostic process <o:p></o:p>

3) One System per Function– enable a new Global Standard Operating Environment (SOE) which will be function / process-centric and not product-centric <o:p></o:p>

4) Strategic Data, Voice, Cloud and Mobility Products & Solutions
