Angie Holtski has worked as an Occupational Therapist with Dean Clinic in Madison, Wisconsin, since 2001 and is a recipient of the Clinic’s Purple Star Achievement Award for Teamwork. Maintaining an interest in upper extremity rehabilitation, Ms. Holtski has earned designation as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. In order to become a CHT, she completed five years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist or a physical therapist, as well as 4,000 hours of hand therapy. Ms. Holtski is currently one of approximately 5,500 CHTs worldwide.
As an occupational therapist with Dean Clinic, Ms. Holtski’s primary role is to enable her patients to resume normal activities in their daily lives. She works with individuals in order to help them regain function after an injury or surgery. Ms. Holtski also helps children with disabilities learn to interact in school and social situations and assists senior citizens in coping with physical and mental changes as they age.
Prior to joining the Dean Clinic, Angie Holtski spent nearly a year as an Occupational Therapist at The Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. She studied biology at Winona State University and then earned a B.S. in Occupational Therapy at Mount Mary College in 2000. Ms. Holtski maintains membership in a variety of professional organizations, including the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Association, and WisCouncil.
Outside of her work, Angie Holtski enjoys community service. She supports the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland Council, the Ronald McDonald House, and the United Way of Dane County.
