Summary

Since 2010, Dr. Angelo Consiglio has served as sole operator of the Marathon, Florida-based practice Allergy Ear Nose & Throat, Inc. There, he fulfills all business and medical duties, providing outstanding service to patients coping with issues related to the head and neck. Before moving to Florida, Dr. Angelo Consiglio owned a similar practice, Allergy Ear Nose & Throat, Ltd., in St. Charles, Illinois.Outside of his private practice, Dr. Consiglio associates with a number of medical facilities. He has worked with Fisherman’s Hospital in Marathon since 2009. Although Dr. Consiglio moved away from Illinois, he still affiliates with the Hinsdale Surgery Center in Hinsdale, Illinois, the Valley Surgery Center in St. Charles, Illinois, and Chicago’s Mount Sinai Hospital. Until 2005, Dr. Angelo Consiglio worked with several other Illinois hospitals, including Central DuPage Hospital, Delnor Community Hospital, and Edward Hospital.Dr. Angelo Consiglio earned his Bachelor of Science from Lisle, Illinois-based Benedictine University, where he graduated summa cum laude. His high level of achievement earned him a research award from the National Science Foundation. Subsequently, Dr. Consiglio spent two months researching leukemia-fighting compounds at the Illinois Institute of Technology, earning a 4.0 GPA. He then attended the University of Illinois, where he received his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Consiglio subsequently spent several years working on his post-doctoral training at the Loyola University Medical Center and the University of Chicago. Since 1989, he has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Loyola University Medical Center’s Department of Otolaryngology. Dr. Angelo Consiglio holds membership in several professional associations, including the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, the Foundation for Allergy Care and Treatment, and the Florida Medical Association. He also serves as Vice President for the Monroe County Medical Society. He has delivered presentations and published articles on a number of topics. Dr. Consiglio also strives to help others using more than just his medical abilities. He provides support to a number of charitable organizations, including AmVets, Pathways for Achievement, Care-in Connections, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the American Cancer Society, the Order of St. Benedict, and Christian Brothers.
