Digital E-Learning Project Manager

  • College Collaboration Fund (C.C.F) Project for the DfE, to work collaboratively with two colleges
  • Assist in the re-shaping and development of online and blended Apprenticeship delivery to include Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality delivery and finding solutions to adapting the learner journey and learning delivery through the pandemic

  • Setting-up a TEL team and carrying out line management responsibilities.
  • Developing E-Learning Strategic Implementation Plans for all academic areas,  negotiating targets and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Designed and conducted a Digital Literacy and  BYOD Self-Assessment for students and staff with engagement from staff across all job roles 
  • TEL project planning and organisation-wide implementation of Turnitin anti-plagiarism software within Moodle and lesson capture software Planet E-Stream.

  • Supporting staff across all curriculum areas and campuses with the use of different pedagogies, promoting flipped, blended, online and gamification learning models. 
  • Developing student induction, online professional development courses for Moodle 
  • Set-up a Social Enterprise Learning Company called the DigiDesk, an E-learning  Helpdesk run by students, providing support and training on digital skills to all students and staff.   • Planned and facilitated annual Professional Development Learning Technologies Staff Conference #LTSC14, attended by over 500 staff.  
  • Set-up an E-Learning Steering Group for cross-organisation collaboration with representation from  several academic and service areas as well as learners
  • Conferences and pedagogy -  E-Learning Online Quality Standards to measure blended and online provision, and presented this to colleagues at annual JISC E-Factor Conference 
  • Management - 3 Interns working on various projects including mobile app development (Android), 15 DigiDesk Advisors and 10 E-Learning Staff Champions. 
  • Projects include: Keep Warm Online Induction Courses - our Marketing team won a national Marketing  Gold Award for this initiative, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Project, Student E-Ambassador Project with funding secured from 157 Group and LSIS
