A Pleasure to Virtually Meet You!

As a smart, organized, witty and intelligent woman, I have always had a love and passion for the wedding and special events industry. From the design phase to implementation and execution it is a pleasure to see my planning efforts come to life. I realized I enjoyed planning events at an early age. In fact, throughout high school this was all I did as a member of the Associated Student Body. When it was time for me to go to college I had my heart on obtaining my business degree because I wanted to own my own company one day. While still in college, a movie debuted  called, The Wedding Planner. Honestly, prior to this movie, I never knew I could have a career in planning meetings and events, let alone weddings. Since then I have been researching the industry, joining relevant industry associations, and planning a plethora of events.

Communications is a key aspect in the event industry because as the event planner, I am the liaison between clients and their vendors. I believe strategic communications is a strong skill I have obtained during my Masters program. I have planned and executed several successful events from weddings, seminars, speaking engagements, holiday mixers, and galas from start to finish. I am currently interesting in working for a non-profit organization planning events for a worthy cause!
