This 501c6 arts organization whose structural and functional capacity was significantly depleted upon my arrival. At the end of the interim term, the organization enjoyed:

  • Complete reorganization of all governing documents.
  • Restructuring of volunteer recruitment and development strategy, which resulted in over 40 active, new volunteers after beginning with 7 volunteers;
  • Creation of a sustaining development strategy which resulted in securing the Chorale's only perpetual sustaining endowment, as well as multiple fund raising activities which exceeded the financial needs of the organization for the next fiscal year;
  • Restructured and trained the current Board of Directors in roles and capacity building.

Presided over fourth largest state chapter of a 58,000 member national professional organization. Responsibilities include: Chapter spokesperson, chairing eight-member board of directors; supervising association management company; directing bi-annual strategic planning; overseeing $300K annual budget; directing committee chairs, coordinators, and volunteers.  In recognition of the impact of service, was named the 2011 National Meritorious Award Winner. This is the highest honor bestowed upon a Chapter Leader from the national association.
