Culinary professional and passionate foodie Angela Janus co-founded and currently serves as Executive Director of Ms. Janus started the Culinary Development Program at after refining her knowledge of the cooking profession through education and practical experience and several years of association with four-star restaurants and catering services. She attended the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California, where she studied Culinary Arts and earned a degree in Hospitality Management. Later, Ms. Janus completed an internship at an Organic Bakery Cooperative in Italy. While living in Rome, she obtained the title of Sommelier, which designates her as a wine specialist, from the Associazione Italiana Sommelier. In addition to her work in the culinary industry, Angela Janus, an Allied Member of ASID, serves as the Principal Designer at J. Janus - A Lifestyle Engineering Studio. As Lead Designer, Ms. Janus is a comprehensive designer and welcomes any design challenge. She is a graduate of FIDM-LA, where she studied Interior Design. A dedicated philanthropist, Angela Janus supports local community causes such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Olive Crest, and the Debbie Chisholm Memorial Foundation. In recent years, Ms. Janus has also given her time to the Pegasus Riding Academy and the Palm Springs Short Film Festival. Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Janus appreciates architecture, economics, engineering, history, and philosophy. A true adventurer at heart, she finds herself at home in nature. She is an avid hiker who enjoys camping, cycling and spontaneous road trips.
