Artist/ Higher Education Professional

Angela is a passionate creative individual who enjoys speaking about the arts and how they impact the community around us. She has been actively involved in the community of arts through juried exhibitions, gallery openings, and artist talks. As a creative thinker she invokes new ideas and research into the thoughts of her peers and students.

Being a Professional Artist, Angela continues her own personal research through Artist in Residence Programs and Professional Developments through art conferences around the country. She is actively creating her own body of work along with teaching in higher education.

Being a Professor, she encourages students to be actively involved in the art community, research historical art movements of the past, and to understand the evolving digital technologies in art. She stresses the importance of practice and thinking outside the box to her students to encourage creativity in their own works and the classroom.
