I also have writing, editing and publishing experience and, as a former bassoonist with several symphony orchestras, an in-depth knowledge of the arts, nonprofits, and education.

  • Represented ROPA at five biennial conventions of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM), and also conferences of the International Conference of Symphony and Opera Musicians and the Organization of Canadian Symphony Musicians
  • Co-created and participated in a multi-organizational Investigative Task Force to explore ways of improving the AFM
  • Co-chaired Unity Conference of five AFM-affiliated organizations
