I am a recent graduate of Massey University, with a Bachelors degree in Aviation. I am self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure and working with a deadline.              I became involved with St John Youth in 2005 as an St John Youth Cadet and continued to be apart of the Organisation until I turned 18, where I then became a voluntary youth leader at Nelson/ Stoke Division, Palmerston North Division and the Otago Resource Division based in Dunedin.

              During my 11 years in St John, I have been involved in numerous competitions at a district, regional, national and international level. As a cadet I competed at these competitions primarily as the team leader with four other cadets, even at the international level. I also helped with the orientation and the induction of new cadets, teaching the younger cadets once a week at divisional nights, training and preparing cadets for competitions. I also volunteered at first aid events, became an ambassador for St John Youth in their induction videos, represented St John Youth at events and functions and a vast array of other voluntary opportunities.

              My roles as a youth leader included teaching lessons, training cadets with first aid, healthcare, communications, teamwork and leadership skills and drill, assisting with the divisional planning and the day-to-day running of divisional nights and events.
