Andy Furnival

A creative technologist who leads by example, with a passion to deliver great solutions that drives real value

I am an technology leader with over 19 years of professional experience. I have a strong passion for technology, patterns and practices which I can exploit to sustainably solve business problems. I'm a logical thinker and a good problem solver, skilled in conceptualising, designing and implementing solutions, working closely with all stakeholders at any level. I'm experienced in working with business leaders and senior IT to help define the right technical strategy.  I take a pragmatic approach to product delivery through technology; rather than ivory tower architecture, I lead and mentor teams on how to design and implement solutions in an agile and sustainable way based on clear principles and guidelines.  I like to prototype ideas prove out theoretical solutions which support the learn quickly or fail fast mantras as used by many agile or transformational organisations. I'm comfortable digging into source code to understand the detail, and occasionally review code and test outcomes at each quality gate to ensure requirements, capabilities delivered and the measurements to established KPI's are met.  I have proven experience of creating highly motivated teams that can focus on exceeding objectives. I am experienced in

- Enterprise, Solutions & Applications Architecture
- Enterprise software development
- Product Strategy, Development & Delivery
- Team Management & Leadership
- Team Building
- Agile

I have 11 years experience in iGaming & Sports Betting, specifically in developing mobile first products engineered to multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements for both private and publicly listed companies.
