About  Andrew Skarupa     

An executive and certified public accountant with years of business management experience, Andrew Skarupa functions as chief financial officer of RealD, a position he has held since 2005. In this role, he was responsible for transforming RealD from a Series A start-up to a publically traded company with a market capitalization in excess of $500 million. Also during his time at RealD, Andrew Skarupa brought the company through a secondary, follow-on offering five months after the initial public offering and also managed the SOX implementation. Additionally, he increased the company’s revenue from nothing to more than $200 million and also acquired two companies.

Prior to joining RealD, Andrew Skarupa held a variety of executive positions at companies including WaterMark Sports, Alliant Protection Services, Inc., Malibu Networks, and MiniMed, Inc. He attended UCLA where he earned a B.S. in mathematics and an MBA. He is a certified public accountant in the State of California. In his free time, Skarupa enjoys being active in the outdoors as a skier, runner, and hiker.
