About Andrew Overman

One of northern New Jersey’s leading physical therapists, Andrew Overman presently works at Hunterdon Medical Center, located in the Borough of Flemington. In his current role as Manager of this 6,000-square foot orthopedic and sports rehabilitation center, he directs company operations while overseeing office management, coordinating staff activity, and building community relationships. In addition to his other duties, Overman maintains responsibility for his company’s external programming, and works to develop programs with regional non-profits, youth groups, and community organizations.

Earlier in his career, Overman maintained a private physical therapy practice. During his 10 years of work as a practicing physical therapist, he focused on injury prevention, and worked primarily with younger athletes. In conjunction with his private practice, Overman conducted public seminars on topics including shoulder pain, back pain, and injury prevention. A college football player, Overman’s experience in intercollegiate athletics drew him to physical therapy, and provided a strong foundation for working with young athletes. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Andrew Overman earned a Master of Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2001. In 2003, he earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The father of two, Andrew Overman is committed to spending quality time with his family. An avid traveler, Overman enjoys visiting foreign locales, and has spent time in Canada, Europe, and the island of Bora Bora. Dedicated to reading, he is a particular fan of twentieth-century fiction authors such as Paulo Coelho and Kenneth Follett. He donates time on a monthly basis to his local senior center and YMCA, in addition to volunteering for the Flemington Pioneers, an area youth football team.
