Experience & associated responsibilities:
·Project: Riverpoint Stage 2 Apartments (113 apartments)
My primary role was designing and coordinating the “Common Use Facility” for the apartment complex which included a cinema, gymnasium, function rooms, social lounge, reception and external pool and barbeque facilities. Additionally, I work closely with the Principle Architect on the design, design development, development applications, consultant coordination and team management of the main apartment complex.
·Project: Riverpoint Stage 1 Apartments (100 + apartments)
I was responsible for the facade construction details and consultant liaison, which included product research and specification, of five unique apartment buildings within the Riverpoint complex. This also included client liaison and reviews which were done face to face during progress meetings.
·Project: Riverpoint display centre
I assisted in the planning, schematic design and design development of this project however I was primarily responsible for the three dimensional client visualisation presentations and building approval and construction documentation. This project also granted me some site inspection and client, contractor and consultant relations experience.
·Project: Sirenia Apartments (70 apartments)
I was mentored by the Principle Architect through the site analysis, design development, client presentation and council development applications phases of the project. I also assisted in managing the team to meet production expectation and deadlines while playing a production role within this project team.
·Project: Spinnaker Master Plan
Sirenia apartments, which are mentioned above, also had a master planning aspect to the project which I closely worked on with the Principle Architect. This involved project brief breakdown, site analysis, design development and presentation preparation.
·Project: KRG office centre refurbishment
I was involved with all the phases of this external and internal office refurbishment. This included initial client meetings, site visits and site analysis, design development, council applications, consultant coordination, construction documentation and contractor RFIs. Although I was primarily working on the external building upgrade, I also worked in conjunction with the interiors department on the interior building upgrade.
While at Group GSA I also produced numerous feasibility studies for developments which included multi residential, commercial, retail and mixed use. I also had the pleasure of working closely on several projects with the interiors department which afforded me product and company representative liaison experience.
