California Equity Management Group, Inc., President Andrew Katakis possesses over 20 years of experience as a real estate professional. Since graduating summa cum laude with his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Stanislaus, Mr. Katakis has worked with several real estate and mortgage companies. Managing the Modesto, California, branch of Commonwealth United Mortgage, Andrew Katakis oversaw all daily operations for the company, including customer service, lending, product sales, and even safety and security. Mr. Katakis also served as the public face of the branch, developing new business opportunities through community outreach and outstanding customer support. He continually ranked among the top 1% of branch managers within the organization. In 1995, Andrew Katakis established California Equity Management Group, and he continues to serve as President of the firm today. The Modesto-based real estate company offers a wide array of resources for buying and selling homes throughout the surrounding areas. Mr. Katakis also launched California Asset Recovery, which eventually became Global Discoveries, Ltd. As Managing Member for the Better Business Bureau-accredited lost asset discovery and recovery firm, he has located and returned unclaimed assets totaling more than $80 million. Aside from his executive roles at California Equity Management Group and Global Discoveries, he functions as Managing Member of Lender’s Financial Group, LLC, a real estate acquisition firm specializing in foreclosed properties. Throughout his career, Andrew Katakis has maintained affiliations with several professional and charitable associations, including the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization and the Alley Cat Guardians, to which he frequently donates. He also supports Community Hospice, Inc. In his spare time, Andrew Katakis enjoys working with antiques and participating in various outdoor activities such as mountain biking and water sports.
