Projects

Velociti's State of the Art Building Relocation
January 2013 to Present
Designed and implemented the hardware with VMware ESXI 5.1 which transferred 12 vital core systems
into one centralized server. Helped install over 10 miles of cable and construct the Data Center within a
condensed time frame prior to grand opening. Managed and worked to install the custom audio solutions, touch pads, and video systems. This included the digital signage throughout the building and setup of the media server to display vital call center information from SalesForce data mining software

Google Showcase
May 2012 to August 2012
Built the world’s first Google Fiber Showcase from the network infrastructure to the media gallery. I was the lead technician with Velociti to install, manage, test, and support the three main technologies; networking, digital signage, and teleconferencing for the time sensitive premier of Google’s gigabit internet service. Worked on site with the Google’s Mountain View team to design-build the copper and fiber MDF/IDF and media distribution for their multimedia convention center and show case location. Worked hand and hand with the media providers to design, fabricate, and support both locations. After “go live,” I was the main onsite support for the fiber showcase and its six satellite locations.

Kmart and Sears Wireless Upgrade
July 2011 to November 2011
Worked with Motorola to develop a turn-key solution to provide wireless implementation for 320 Sears and Kmart locations within an aggressive time scale. With Velociti Solutions, I was in charge of Trained and managed new employees, with the Motorola LAN Planner software, who were proficient in CAD. Teamed up to design virtual 3D models of the stores and determine pristine location to maximize quality of the wireless access points and networking cabinets. After the design phase, I worked with field technicians to validate the network design and make real-time changes. In parallel, designed and implemented a 24- hour call center for site support during installation. Gathered vital information for reporting once sites were complete. Also traveled to locations to complete wireless surveys, validate design, installation support, and network cutovers.

Raley's Grocery Store Wireless Upgrade
September 2010 to December 2011
Worked on a pilot team to determine the wireless upgrade requirements of Raley’s grocery stores by evaluating project scope and design needs. Used LAN Planner 3D RF modeling software to plan the wireless infrastructure for over 125 locations. After competition of the design phase, was part of the install team for the northern California locations.
