Andre Dobison has always managed a fine balance between his career and personal life, promoting a dual commitment to community stewardship and excellence in the financial services industry. As an active member of the Avoyel-Taensa Tribe/Nation of Louisiana, Inc., Andre Dobison upholds the spirit and traditions of his people through a variety of group functions, meetings, and efforts to protect their land, water, and natural resources. Noted for his contributions in and around his hometown of Alexandria, Louisiana, as well, Mr. Dobison has sat on the Avoyelles Parish School Board, held membership with the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce, and served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States National Guard until his honorable discharge. A member of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, Mr. Dobison regularly gives to his church’s charitable causes, along with such philanthropic organizations as the American National Red Cross and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Away from work, Andre Dobison plays pickup basketball games with friends and children in the community, watches New Orleans Saints and Hornets games, shoots pool, bowls, and goes fishing throughout the state. Andre Dobison has traveled to Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Hawaii, California, and elsewhere.
In the field of insurance sales for more than 25 years, Andre Dobison currently serves as a Regional Vice President of Primerica. Joining Primerica as a Registered Representative in 1985, Andre Dobison has consistently performed as an important member of the company since then, with numerous satisfied clients in his territory and beyond.
