This master’s specialization is for students who aspire to work across and to span the boundaries between business and society, for example as a consultant, in corporate communications, or with business intelligence in public, non-profit and for-profit organisations.
Different types of companies and organisations thus have to deal with varying sets of complicated relationships and dependencies. These may arise from new market situations resulting from globalisation,
but also from value conflicts between interest groups, organisations, and other sectors of society. . In this program, students specifically learn to handle the techniques for analysing and understanding
relationships, dependencies and exchanges between organisations and their environment.
Courses within the MIG specialization are:
Managing Contemporary Organisations
Organisations in a Global Society
Consulting, Communication and Change
Advanced Analysis in Organisation Studies
