I am a dreamer and an idealist at heart, and that is where my creativity and general positive attitude stems from, but at the same time I have learned that the real world isn't very idealistic and works in processes - I have built a box out of logic for the creative mind to think his way out of.

If you can dream it you can reach it - the sky isn't even the limit - yet you have to approach your limitless horizons with a plan, purpose and a set structure in mind.

I am the owner of Subvert Press, hopefully a name you will remember and hear about in the not-too-far-future. Subvert Press is involved in a few industries, hoping to bring a bit more creative thinking to the corporate world.

Subvert Press is a network of blogs/social media accounts/forums and other online outlets that act as a portfolio for my many creative endeavors - music, web design, visual art, poetry, fiction and non-fiction works, as well as a directory for the freelance services I am capable of offering (such as SEO, editing and proofreading, research, etc.), all linked together by a website which is currently offline, but which will be relaunched soon. The bigger picture is to eventually create a vast network of blogs, pages and sites blending various disciplines to provide aspiring creatives to share their art and contribute to modern culture in a relevant, accessible and rewarding way while honing their craft and exploring opportunities in the corporate world.

Although I have been performing on various stages since I was still very young, I had my first paying gig in 2008 as a funeral pianist. Since 2008 my session work was mostly on church stages and for a period of more or less 2 years (2011 - 2013) I played at various events and venues with a Christian band I started with a friend in early 2011 called Ruwa-Doxa Ministries. I still get frequent requests to play the piano/organ at funerals, and I usually try and fit them into my schedule as best I can between work and my more full-time music projects. I am available session for your band, especially in a live setting, and can fill in on guitar, bass, piano, vocals and a few other instruments.

Although my written works have not yet been published in mainstream print media, except for a few editions of irrelevant and rather unknown local and national periodicals, I have in the last six years written for more than 32 blogs as well as websites like Squidoo and Ultimate Guitar (most of the time as a ghost writer or employing a nom de plume), and have been published on various online platforms. I also write philosophical and academic dissertations and studies, and compile research resources (upon request) for university students on almost every topic from fine arts to genetics to biological anthropology to spirituality and politics. I have done editing and proofreading for two novels, however only one has been published thus far, and also for a local bi-monthly magazine called Breakthrough Christian Magazine.

I studied Theology, especially with the goal of understanding spirituality and religion as a whole, and during this time did a lot of independent research on comparative religion, history, various scientific disciplines, psychology and sociology in an effort to understand the way people think and act, and how we interact with society and everything else around us. The practical assignments made me a confident and inspiring public speaker, and the volunteer work I did with homeless shelters, informal settlements and other charities taught me various people skills that can be applied in every day interactions - no matter what social class the people we interact with fall into.
