Responsible of all Air Operation for consumer and Industrial products for Latin America destinations (Branch Offices and distribution centers) from Asia, North America and Mexico plants. Responsible for the introduction and implementation of suppliers serving all Logistics Operations for HP requirements.
Contact point between Sanmina-SCI and the customer; Tellabs (8800 product family) and AFC (Tellabs 1000 product Family) as well for Internal Sales to other Sanmina-SCI plants around the world to promote the vertical integration in the Backplanes and Chassis Integration Division, Demand and Account handling, Customer Service, Excess and Obsolete negotiation, sales forecasting, Quarterly and Yearly sales projections, demand simulations, Purchase price Variance (PPV) negotiation.Account Receivable control. Contract review and price negotiation. Coordination between the finance department to ensure a properly gross margin to become competitive enough for the customer and exceed profit expectation to the company. Material expedite (as escalation focus point) shipping, logistics and finish goods logistics process.Continuous improvement team leader ( involving a group of 10+ people such as: Test, Quality, Process, Product Engineering) to follow up procedures of engineering and design change, New Products Introduction implementation, continuously improving the customer satisfaction.
Plant sales administration: Open order handling; sales order confirmation, finish goods shipping coordination as well as customer service functions to maintain customer satisfaction. Principal contact point on export and import within the regional division; focusing on exportation of machinery and equipment (mainly Europe), and importation of finish goods (printed paper bags) to customers outside the country (US and South America).Operational focus point in the coordination of manufacture; planning of material shortage. Sales forecast in a monthly, semester and yearly basis. Sales analysis; customer service statistics.Principal focus point on internal logistics and operations in the region. Overhead, material expenses, times and procedures for plant production. As a European company starting in Mexico the work performed in Mondi became useful to gain customer satisfaction as well as more clients and getting inventory reductions for over 50% monthly on raw material handling; improvements on lead times due to a well-planned production schedule.
