Income Maintenance Caseworker: This position is responsible for processing center work and includes accountability for determining eligibility for financial assistance, Medicaid, Food Stamps, LIHEAP, Nursing Home Care, and Waivers as well as any additional programs the Department administers for applicants/recipients in accordance with state regulations. This includes all job functions that are necessary to perform these duties with or without reasonable accommodations. The majority of the Income Maintenance Casework (IMC) workload consists of interviewing customers, reviewing policy and the use of automated eligibility determination systems. A limited number of programs still require manual determination of benefits.

·Assess individuals brought to the Emergency Room who are having difficulty with various issues such as: Abuse/Neglect, Aging relating issues, Anxiety/Panic Attacks, Assaultive/Destructive Issues, Domestic Violence, Housing Issues, Drug & Alcohol Abuse, Marital/Relational Issues, and Psychotic Individuals.

·Signed 302 Involuntary Commitments as a Lebanon County Delegate.Approved 201 Voluntary Commitments.

·Went Onsite within the Community to various situations such as suicidal individuals.

·Worked with the State and Local Police Departments.Reported abuse to Children & Youth Agencies, as well as the Police Department.

·Obtain Precertification for treatment through Insurance Companies.
