I performed many duties here as this was a small family owned gallery, but my main priority was administrative. I entered and monitored daily transactions utilizing industry specific software. I assisted in various functions such as bookkeeping and payroll utilizing QuickBooks Pro, maintaining stock levels, and management and promotion of events (4-6 per year / 2-3 days each).
I set up and maintained the bookkeeping and human resources department. I was an integral part of the hiring and termination team. I was forefront in customer relations, as well as acquisition and maintenance of client accounts. I also assisted in estimating jobs in addition to pricing and ordering of materials.
I developed and maintained the following systems: bookkeeping, order fulfillment, manufacturing, as well as the shipping and receiving and Inventory management systems. I also assisted with research and development. I committed all of these systems to paper in a comprehensive procedures manual.
